Synopsis:

Oumar Sarr was fondly beckoned as ‘Sarro Sarro’. This native of the dakaroise suburb sits himself at the firm crossing amidst his African sensibilities, blues, jazz and reggae. His music is more than pretty Senegalese tunes, his lyrics are a clarion call to denounce the defects of the company and invite Africa to a new awakening.

‘Tomorrow’ (2015) with its four nuggets ‘Babylon’,’Domou Adama’, ‘Maman’ and ‘Tomorrow’ saw him sail into the reckoning with élan. They were the opening act of 24th Saint-Louis International Jazz Festival in May, 2016 and subsequently also participated in MAPAS (Tenerife, Canary Islands and in Tangier, Morocco), in WOMAAF (World Music And African Art Festival) and in the second edition of the International Festival Ibn Battuta.
