Synopsis:
The Open Land Quartet - is headed by Mr. Bruno Angelini. He is one of the most accomplished pianists in France today, and he travels widely with his quartet, who are all very distinguished musicians. They are a chamber jazz quartet- a genre of acoustic jazz where the group interplay is important and their music is influenced by neoclassicism and contemporary music. Their concerts for this album have been widely acclaimed in France, this past year. The album was also shortlisted among 9 group albums for the prestigious 'Victoire de la Musique' French music awards this year. (Equivalent of the Grammy awards and the Brit music awards).
